Promotion at Scullion LAW as two join firm
Glasgow and Hamilton practice Scullion LAW has strengthened its court department, with the promotion of solicitor advocate Urfan Dar to senior associate from 1 October, and two new appointments.
Anna MacKay joins the firm from Bridge Litigation, Glasgow as an associate in early October, acting for solemn and private criminal clients, and Lucy McKenna, an experienced road traffic litigator, will join on 4 November as a solicitor from Paterson Bell, Edinburgh.
Mr Dar, who became the first Muslim solicitor advocate in Scotland in 2014, has extensive experience in the management, direction and presentation of High Court, sheriff and jury, and summary trials.
Managing director Nicholas Scullion commented: "Urfan is a brilliant solicitor advocate and he has delivered significant results since joining Scullion LAW at the beginning of the year. He is a great person to work with and we are delighted to recognise his contribution to the continued success of the firm."
