Promotion reward for Scullion LAW client care champion
Glasgow and Hamilton practice Scullion LAW has promoted Charmaine Trainor to executive director and head of client care.
Ms Trainor, who has been with the firm for nine years, joined as a receptionist two weeks after arriving with her family from California. After a few years of speaking to clients every day, she saw an opportunity to expand on the client care role, and in 2016 she became full time client care manager. Subsequently the firm won the first National Legal Award for excellence in Client Care, for a project on which she collaborated with the wider team.
Returning from furlough in November 2020, she took on a sales role within the Court and Family Law departments.
Managing director Nicholas Scullion commented: "This promotion is in recognition of Charmaine’s brilliant work and I look forward to seeing what the future holds. It is well deserved. Charmaine has been an advocate and campaigner for client care since she joined the firm. She’s always asked customers for feedback whilst on reception and used that feedback as an opportunity to improve the way we do things. Client Focus is now part of our DNA and a core value which shows how effective this focus has been.
