Queen's Counsel in Scotland applications open
Advocates and solicitor advocates seeking recommendation for appointment in 2021 as Queen’s Counsel in Scotland are being invited to apply.
The Lord Justice General invites applications by Monday 5 April.
Applicants should normally have had at least 13 years' experience of practising in the superior courts, though a shorter period will be considered if particular circumstances, such as relevant prior experience, make it appropriate. There is no set quota to be filled and applicants will be considered without discrimination on the basis of age, race, disability or other protected characteristics.
