Sarah O'Neill reappointed to SLAB
Sarah O’Neill has been reappointed as a member of the Scottish Legal Aid Board.
Ms O’Neill is a non-practising solicitor and an independent consultant specialising in legal and consumer policy, with many years’ experience of working in the areas of access to justice, legal services, consumer protection and consumer redress. She has been a legal member of the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland (Housing and Property Chamber) since 2012. She was formerly director of policy and solicitor at Consumer Focus Scotland, and is an accredited mediator.
Her reappointment will be for three years, from 1 April 2021 until 31 March 2024. It attracts a remuneration of £236.55 per day for a time commitment of 3.5 days per month.
