Scottish Arbitration Centre moves to CA House
The Scottish Arbitration Centre is relocating to CA House, Haymarket, Edinburgh, which is the home of ICAS – the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
The Centre will offer facilities for arbitration hearings, mediations, conferences and other events from its new base.
ICAS is a global professional body for Chartered Accountants with 23,000 members and 3,700 CA students spanning industries and time zones.
The Scottish Arbitration Centre works to promote arbitration in Scotland and Scotland to the world as a seat and venue for international arbitration. It also offers an arbitral appointments service and provides training to practitioners.
Brandon Malone, Chairman of the Centre, said: “I am delighted that the Centre has a new home with our friends at ICAS and access to their excellent facilities for arbitration hearings and mediations. It is important that Scotland has such facilities, and we are ensuring that is the case, as we prepare to host ICCA Edinburgh, the largest and most prestigious international conference in the world, in September.”
