SCTS advises over Civil Online change of agency
Scottish Courts & Tribunals Service has issued guidance in respect of procedure where there has been a change of agency, in particular where new agents wish to use Civil Online.
If a solicitor has been instructed following a change of agency and wishes to use Civil Online, they must make a formal request in writing to the sheriff clerk confirming the change of agency.
On receipt of the formal communication, the court will update representation details in the case management system, which will allow solicitor access to the particular case in Civil Online.
