SEMLA and NatWest in further work experience offer
SEMLA, the Scottish Ethnic Minorities Lawyers Association, has announced a further collaboration with NatWest Group to provide two student members with the opportunity to undertake a week of virtual work experience with the NatWest team.
It follows the previous collaboration in October 2020 when two students undertook virtual work experience with the Outsourcing, Technology & IP (OT&IP) in-house legal team. The feedback from the students was overwhelmingly positive.
The next placement will take place from 12-16 April 2021. The week will be designed to allow participating students to get a feel for what it is like to work in an in-house legal team for a financial services organisation and in the technology space.
This opportunity is open to current LLB and Diploma students members. Interested students should e-mail their application to Usman Tariq of SEMLA (usman.tariq@advocates.org.uk) with the heading “NatWest Work Experience”., and providing a CV and a statement of 200 words or less explaining why you are keen to gain this work experience. The deadline is Friday 26 March 2021.
