Senior associate promotion at Balfour+Manson

Balfour+Manson has announced its fourth promotion in 2021, with the appointment of Michaela Guthrie as a senior associate as from today.

Ms Guthrie joined the firm in January 2014 and started her traineeship in August that year. She works in the team dealing with clinical negligence matters and high-value personal injury work.

Team head Ann Logan commented: "Michaela has developed significant experience and skill in this complex area and her promotion to senior associate is the natural next step. We all know she will continue to develop further, and that she is a valuable asset to the future of Balfour+Manson."

Already this year Martin Walker (litigation) and Graeme Thomson (private client) became partners on 1 January, while James Hyams has been promoted to associate in private client.
