Senior roles for Shepherd and Wedderburn lawyers
Two lawyers with Shepherd and Wedderburn have been appointed to senior positions at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Leigh Herd, an Associate in Shepherd and Wedderburn’s construction disputes team, has been confirmed as Vice Chair of the Scottish Branch of the institute.
Having previously held the position of Honorary Secretary, Ms Herd, who was last year named Rising Star of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards, has played an active role in the institute’s Scottish arm since 2015.
Meanwhile, colleague Alyson Shaw, a solicitor in Shepherd and Wedderburn’s property and infrastructure disputes team, assumes the role of Honorary Secretary.
Andrew Blain, Managing Partner of Shepherd and Wedderburn, said: “Congratulations to Leigh and Alyson on their appointments as Vice Chair and Honorary Secretary. Leigh and Alyson’s wealth of experience in supporting Shepherd and Wedderburn’s clients in various forms of dispute resolution will serve them well and, on behalf of all at the firm, I wish them both all the best in their new roles.”
