Stephen Vallance elected Dean of Glasgow Royal Faculty
Stephen Vallance of Harper Macleod has been elected as Dean of the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow.
Mr Vallance took up office at the Royal Faculty's AGM on 25 May, succeeding Austin Lafferty who has completed his two year term.
John Bett of Lindsays was elected as Vice Dean, and Craig Donnelly and Brian Woods were newly elected to the council.
The new Dean paid tribute to past Deans, particularly Austin Lafferty and Donald Reid, and said he was looking forward continuing working with fellow council members and the entire membership body and hoped to strengthen relationships which the Royal Faculty had within the legal community.
