Thorntons adds to Glasgow Commercial Real Estate team

Thorntons has expanded its Glasgow practice with the appointment of a legal director and a senior solicitor to its Commercial Real Estate team.

Richard Hart has joined the firm as a legal director from Shepherd & Wedderburn, where he was a senior associate. He brings more than 25 years’ experience in the real estate sector, acting for housebuilders, landowners and tenants on all aspects of site acquisitions and sales. He has a particular interest in healthcare, principally the care home and primary care sectors.

Abbi Armstrong has joined the team as a senior solicitor, moving from residential conveyancing with Lockerbie practice McJerrow & Stevenson.
