Three Edinburgh partner promotions at WBD
Law firm Womble Bond Dickinson ("WBD") has confirmed three partner promotions in Scotland as part of its UK-wide growth.
Chris McLauchlan, who heads the Scottish banking practice, Lisa Dromgoole, leader of the Scottish contentious construction and engineering practice, and Emily Pike, an experienced private client lawyer who is dual qualified in England & Wales, all advance to partner level.
The promotions are part of a wider raft of promotions across WBD's offices in the UK, including 10 partner and three legal director promotions.
John Ralph, head of WBD’s Edinburgh office, commented: "I am delighted with the promotions of Chris, Lisa and Emily to partner, which are extremely well deserved.
"These talented lawyers have significantly broadened the range of services that we offer in Scotland. They have all made, and will continue to make, a significant contribution to the delivery of our growth ambitions in Scotland."
Adding his congratulations, Paul Stewart, UK managing partner, said: "Being able to reward those who have demonstrated such passion and expertise is an absolute pleasure, and I look forward to seeing our new partners and legal directors thrive in their new roles."
