Two legal directors lead seven hires for Shoosmiths
UK law firm Shoosmiths has announced a total of seven hires, including two legal directors, for its teams in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Real estate lawyer Simon Dawes, previously with Pinsent Masons, has joined as a legal director in Edinburgh, where he will be supported by experienced paralegal Morven Pinkerton who has joined from Morton Fraser. Also in Edinburgh, Simon Mayberry has moved from LexLeyton as a senior associate in the Employment team and Angela Robertson has joined from Thorntons as an associate in the Dispute Resolution & Litigation team.
In the Glasgow office, Calum Stacey, previously head of the legal team at Total UK, has been appointed a legal director in the Commercial team; Rachel Munro will join the Real Estate team in March from Shepherd & Wedderburn, as a senior associate; and Pavan Sumal has joined the Employment team from an in-house position with Five Star International Ltd, as an associate.
