Students are first to win scholarship prize Awards made by the Scottish Universities Law Institute
Two research students have been named as the winners of scholarships from the Scottish Universities Law Institute.
Edinburgh Law School’s Shona Warwick and Aberdeen University’s Chike Emedosi are the first ever recipients of the awards.
Ms Warwick is undertaking a PhD on "The Lease and the Licence in Scots law: A historical-doctrinal analysis" under the supervision of Professor Laura MacGregor, Lorna Richardson and Scott Wortley.
Mr Emedosi’s current research focuses on the creation of security interests in securitisations after the global financial crisis: a comparative analysis of the law in England, Scotland, and France.
