Women in Law Scotland seeks views ahead of relaunch
The network Women in Law Scotland is inviting views on its future direction ahead of a planned relaunch.
Set up in 2015, Women in Law Scotland is aimed at solicitors, advocates, paralegals and those working in the legal industry in Scotland, to promote gender equality in Scottish legal profession. From 2015 until the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, it offered a forum for networking, sharing ideas and best practice, with regular in-person events.
With in-person events now possible again, the committee is keen to refresh its ranks, and encourage those with an interest in the achievement of gender equality in the profession to contribute to the group’s future.
To help achieve this, Women in Law Scotland invites responses to a survey on its future direction and what the Scottish legal profession currently needs from it. The survey will be live until Friday 30 June 2023.
The committee would particularly welcome input on what the group should focus on in the future, and what would best support its members and volunteers to help refresh its ranks, as it moves forward.
