Clyde & Co raise £8,000 for charity

30th October 2020 | Charities , Sport

Clyde & Co’s Scottish team has raised more than £8,000 for the charity Cash for Kids as part of Radio Forth’s 5k-a-day Challenge.

The Boogie 5k-a-day Challenge encouraged people to run, walk or cycle five kilometres per day for the entire month while raising sponsorship funds from family, friends and colleagues.

And at Clyde & Co, more than 40 employees signed up for the event. Vikki Melville, managing partner for Clyde & Co Scotland, said: “It’s fantastic to see so much enthusiasm and participation from the Clyde & Co Scotland teams. Although most of us are still working from home, this challenge has enabled many of us to keep in touch outside of work, sharing our exercising adventures, our fundraising efforts, and keeping each other motivated throughout the month whilst all the time raising money for a brilliant local charity. We’ve now raised more than £8,000 for Cash for Kids, and have smashed all our initial targets beyond what we could have hoped.”
