Law firm’s charity auction raises £73,000

The law firm Just Employment Law (JEL) has raised £73,140 in an online auction for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.

Last month’s event raised vital funds for Pancreatic Cancer Action Scotland (PCAS), of whom Just Employment Law are long-term supporters.

In addition to the online auction, JEL helped to raise funds and awareness through hosting their “Purple Thistle Day” at Partick Thistle Football Club in October.

JEL, who are based in Glasgow, are the main sponsors of the club. This was the third year that they’ve used a home match to embrace the colour purple associated with pancreatic cancer, to help shine a light on the disease, assisted by the players, management, JEL staff and PCAS supporters.
